This new research report gives insights into the Village model—a grassroots effort by older adults to age in place in their communities.
Researchers conducted a survey in which US Villages were asked to report details on their organization for the calendar year 2015. Of the 155 eligible Villages in the United States, 115 responded with information on their Village model, member characteristics, geographic location, human resources, financial resources, collaborations, and confidence in sustainability.
