2016 Village Coalition Brief

Get a detailed look at the operations of regional and statewide coalitions of Villages—the model that brings together older adults in a neighborhood or community who have a mutual interest in aging in place.

Based on interviews with leaders from 16 coalitions, researchers explore the purpose of these coalitions, their organizational characteristics, coordinated actions undertaken by coalitions, and visions for coalitions’ potential value.

For more information on the Village movement, see the 2016 National Survey of US Villages.
