Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging is pleased to sponsor the Innovative Research on Aging Awards, with the goal of bringing attention to excellent applied research that offers important implications for the senior living industry.
Researchers and authors who have published peer-reviewed articles within the past year (March 2016 – March 2017) are invited to apply. The research must be applicable to a relevant area, including supporting the senior living workforce, technological advancements for older adults, programs that support health and well-being of senior living residents, and aging in place.
Applicants will be evaluated based on: (1) quality of research, (2) actionable research findings and recommendations, (3) relevance to important problems in the senior living industry, and (4) innovation.
The award winner will receive a $1,500 prize; up to four honorable mentions will each receive $500.
